Stuart Taylor is an ISEB certified Test Practitioner and Agile Evangelist, a very technical Internet application tester and Delivery Manager, with a proven track record of successfully managing the testing of a wide variety of Internet applications underpinned with world class solutions including Oracle 10g, Endeca, Apache and JAVA.
He is very adept at working under pressure with unstructured teams, situations and environments.
Stuart has worked extensively with J2EE client/server, AJAX, JSON, XML transformation using XALAN or Resin under Tomcat or JBoss and Apache.
A staunch proponent of Automated Acceptance Testing with tools such as FIT/Fitnesse and Selenium/Webdriver and working in a continuous integration development environment.
Educated to degree level in an engineering discipline with over 10 years Internet testing experience Stuart has grown with the web, and is able to impart his knowledge describing very complicated systems in jargon free language using easily understood metaphors.
He is always interested in thorny migration projects, load and performance testing on a shoestring and bespoke automated testing. With more than 24 years of experience in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Stuart is a member of the IET.
In his spare time he donates his time and professional knowledge to several Open Source projects including the award winning XBMC.
